Precision and manoeuvrability for 2024’s superlative sporting event
In the world of industrial production, it's often the little things that make a big difference. This was also the case with the latest assignment received by our in-house production facility in Haan, where made to measure space-savers are created. After all, there was a matter of special concern for French Groupe ADP (AĂ©roports de Paris) for one of the largest sporting events in 2024, being held in Paris: it wanted someone to make transport trolleys that transport goods while also being particularly easy to manoeuvre.

The customer
Groupe ADP is a giant when it comes to operating airports, and is in charge of all areas of development, from planning to implementation. With three major airports in Paris – Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly and Paris-Le Bourget – and a worldwide network of 120 airports in 50 countries, the Group sets standards in airport management.
The requirements
Flexibility is absolutely indispensable at one of the world’s biggest sporting events. Groupe ADP was looking for a large quantity of transport devices that can move goods quickly and along even the narrowest of corridors. kaiserkraft responded with 1,200 made to measure transport trolleys equipped with clever roller technology: four swivel castors ensure that the trolleys can turn on their own axis and remain easy to steer even in the smallest of spaces – manoeuvrability that works.

Large quantities in a short time – was it a challenge? A piece of cake for the professionals at kaiserkraft. The 1,200 transport trolleys and castors were manufactured and delivered to France right on schedule – and the schedule was tight. It was a sustainable delivery with the products being delivered disassembled, and one trolley serving as a means of transport for the others – this is what sustainable thinking looks like.
